Team Lisowe wins 2005 Gift of Life Tournament |

The 15th annual Gift of Life Softball Tournament was held August 26th – 28th, 2005 at Quit Qui Oc Athletic Complex. This year’s proceeds will benefit a Plymouth resident, Connie (Ladwig) Bardon, who suffers from liver cancer. Connie & her husband, Kerry (Clarence) have two girls, Melody & Cary. Both Connie & Clarence have been participates in several previous Gift of Life Tournaments. Family team Lisowe defeated draft team Stephanie. The Lisowe team was undefeated in the tournament. The Stan Struve Memorial MVP Award was presented to three players from the Lisowe team, Mike Jim & Dave Ladwig, all brothers to Connie. Jodi Perronne, of draft team Stephanie received the Stan Struve Memorial Female MVP Award. Due to the continued support and generosity of the individuals, organizations, and businesses in Sheboygan County, the tournament was a huge success. The accomplishments of this year’s event can be attributed to the players and fans who participated, as well as, the sponsors and volunteers who donated their time and money. This year’s board consisted of Janice Struve, Tate Struve, Troy Struve, Dan Schmitz, Dan Albright, Cheryl Lensmire, Debbie Tracy, Todd Klemme, Randy Schmitz, Paxton Moore, Ranae Lorenz and Carleen Pickruhn. PLAYER DRAFT AND / OR FAMILY TEAM FORMATAll entrants will be placed on the draft list. Managers will select teams on Tuesday August 23 7:30 at The Nicolaus Haus, GreenbushFamily teams are welcome. Family teams must pick a " HEAD OF
THE FAMILY TREE" (one person that all the players are related to)
Family teams must have the same number of female players in the lineup
as the draft teams. However if family team elect to add an 11th players
or more to the line up. The 11, 13,15 player must be a female. Family
teams that need additional players must add them thought the draft PSA
rules will apply.
